House security

I've got uPVC French doors, about 10 years old. The locks on them are the standard ones. If I were to have "anti-bump" locks fitted would that increase security? Thanks.

We’ve got a 110LB 3yr old Rottweiler whose bark you can hear about half a mile away.
Better than any lock!

You can get a decent system for under £150 that's simple to install.

You don't have to get snide CCTV, get Reolink, easy to set up and cheap for the price, you can monitor your home on your phone while you are out

Get a Viper fitted to them. Basically a sensor that sets of an alarm if they are moved.

If the doors are older than ten years it's probably time to replace with new updated ones your double glazed units only have a 5-year guarantee. with new energy ratings required the doors will be better insulated and more secure locking, look up document Q building regulations.
